It doesn't get much better than this. Sit back and relax on one of the lazy boys while sipping a Corona while waiting for the best octopus taco you've ever had. Very cheap considering it's right on the beach. A gem.

Planning to go to one of the Cenotes and want to grab a quick bite in the city of Tulum? Look no further. The burrito's at Amor are excellent and will have you craving them for the rest of your stay. Opt for cactus fruit for a new taste - and don't be fooled by the creamy white sauce on the table - it's extremely spicy (but delicious).

One of Tulum's biggest attractions is obviously the beach and finding a great hotel near the water isn't too much of hassle. However, when you've decided to stay closer to local eateries and like the idea of biking to the beach – Secret Garden is an amazing, budget friendly getaway. It's basically in the middle of town and the wonderful staff will help you with all your plans and wishes. Make sure to visited Taqueria Honorio, one of the best tacos we had during our stay.

Like the Nomad that you are, you want your hotel to fit your lifestyle, right? If that means doing yoga on a regular basis and describing your general vibe as 'boho-chique', don't look any further – this is the place. Nômade is located right on the beach and has all the amenities that'll make your stay unforgettable. We suggest staying in one of their luxury tents for a unique experience.

Okay, you're going to Tulum anyway, so if you absolutely want to get lost in paradise and pamper yourself to the fullest – Azulik has got your back. The wellness-oriented retreat offers you a clothing-optional beach, a no-kids policy and three different restaurants (believe us, there's no good reason to leave the Azulik). There are no televisions or electric light, so no excuse not to enjoy the amazing views of the surrounding jungle and Caribbean waters.
